In Loving Memory ♡

Wayne Thiebaud was not only a prominent American artist but also a passionate advocate for arts education. He served as a professor of art at both Sacramento City College and UC Davis and used his platform to promote the importance of arts education for all students. Thiebaud was a strong proponent of integrating art into the broader curriculum, believing that it can enhance students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. He has also been a vocal critic of the lack of arts education in public schools and has advocated for increased funding and support for arts programs. Thiebaud's invaluable efforts have had a lasting impact, inspiring countless students and educators to recognize the value of the arts in education.

Artmosphere works to expand upon Wayne’s monumental arts education efforts, continuing his aspirations for today’s youth. Having lived 101 wonderful years as a talented artist, a dedicated professor, and a mentor to many, accessibility to comprehensive arts education was a priority of Wayne’s which Artmopshere wishes to continue.
